The Chaconne on flute

By far the best performance of the Chaconne on flute I've found on YouTube. More popular versions just power straight through, and as though we were still on violin; there is no introspection, least of all to explore how the piece might be reinvented to suit the instrument. Yeojin Han perfectly captures the sense of lonely, primordial mystery the flute often affords great melodies; the tone is sweet, timeless, and the tempo is not too fast. It is wandering, questioning.
