Fauré's Requiem

Rather ironically, on the occasion of Gabriel Fauré's birthday, I'd encourage you to listen to the amazing Introit and Kyrie of his Requiem. It's fantastic how about ten minutes can conjure up a magnificent, luminous cathedral looming overhead, and a Disney-like sense of shimmering magic. If they ever do a remake of the Hunchback of Notre Dame, this has gotta be in there.
